3 items changing for Indonesia e-VoA and health checks

Indonesia is keeping its online tourist visa and electronic visa on arrival or e-VoA, in place for short stays. The Visitor Visa B213 remains a single-entry permit for 30 days, with a 90-day validity window from approval and the airport visa on arrival still follows the same basic rules.
The health step has changed shape, though. The separate SATUSEHAT pass has been folded into the Molina arrival card, which now combines immigration, customs and health declarations in one digital form.
Who the current rules cover
The system still covers tourists and short-term visitors from roughly 97 eligible countries, including the U.S., U.K., EU states, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. Digital nomads can use it for brief trips, but the tourist-type visa does not formally allow remote work.
Longer-stay expats generally need a residence permit or other long-stay visa instead of cycling through tourist entries. Indonesia’s remote-worker E33G KITAS remains the separate route for those planning a longer stay.
What to prepare before flying
Applicants need a passport valid for at least 6 months, an onward or return ticket, a confirmed address in Indonesia and a passport photo. The online application is filed through the government e-visa portal and the fee is IDR 500,000, about $35.
The initial stay can usually be extended once for another 30 days, though some holders now face a hybrid process that includes an in-person biometric visit. Overstays can bring fines of IDR 1,000,000 per day, so timing matters.
