Who We Are
Stamped Nomad (stampednomad.com) is a personal project operated by Brandon Richardson. It provides digital nomad guides, visa information, and travel news for remote workers worldwide.

What Data We Collect
Analytics (with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location (country/city level), device type, and referral source. This data helps us understand how the site is used and improve the experience.
Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first name. We offer two ways to sign up: our on-site signup form, and a Google-hosted popup powered by Google Reader Revenue Manager. Either path results in the same outcome — your email is added to our subscriber list and managed through our email service provider, Beehiiv, which delivers the newsletters and handles unsubscribe requests.
Legal basis: consent (opt-in). We retain your email until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time using the link in every email.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects standard server logs including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and request timestamps. These are retained for operational purposes and are not linked to individual users.
Cookies
We use two categories of cookies:

- Decline analytics cookies (via the cookie banner or footer settings)
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time

Data Retention
Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained by Vercel for up to 30 days.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
