Czech Republic's Brno Airport Keeps 34 Direct Routes This Summer

Brno-Tuřany Airport is running a 34-destination summer schedule and that matters if you’re based in South Moravia, because it cuts the Prague detour for beach runs, quick breaks and family visits. The season runs from March 29 to October 24, with a 3% rise in flight frequency and, honestly, a stronger charter-heavy lineup than most regional airports can offer.
The mix is simple.
Three routes stay scheduled year-round: London Stansted, Milan Bergamo and Malaga, with Milan now flying three times weekly instead of two. Charter traffic fills most of the map and that means Greece, Egypt, Bulgaria, Turkey, Albania, Montenegro, Italy and Portugal are all in play, which, surprisingly, gives Brno a pretty serious summer range for a mid-size airport.
Who it affects
This is good news for digital nomads, expats and weekend travelers living in Brno or anywhere nearby, because direct access usually means less time, fewer connections and lower total trip costs. The restored Podgorica route, operating June through September via Air Montenegro, is especially useful for Balkan travel and the return of Kefalonia gives sun-seekers another Greek island option without the usual connecting-flight hassle.
The practical upside is real.
Brno handled about 740,000 passengers in 2025, so the airport is clearly pushing for more traffic and the summer base now includes five aircraft, with support from Smartwings, Electra Airways, Hello Jets and extra carriers like Aegean, Corendon, Freebird and Air Montenegro.
What to do
Check your dates early, because charter pricing shifts fast and the cheapest seats won’t hang around. If you’re choosing between Brno and Prague, compare total travel time, baggage rules and transfer costs, then book the route that actually saves you money, not the one that just looks cheaper at first glance.
