Managing Immigration Audits in Peru
Peru's immigration authority will now audit at least 10% of all approved residency and visa applications every six months to verify document authenticity. Foreign nationals found with fraudulent information face status revocation and heavy fines ranging from USD $8,000 to $15,000.
