Share route holding rules: Up to 20% per company; funds and trading profits locked for three years to No more than 10% of the investment in any one company; shares bought through a licensed broker within four months of Ministry of Investment approval; no leverage, mortgage, sale or profit withdrawal for at least five years.
Property residency (separate, does not lead to citizenship): now Five-year renewable residency for buying property worth at least JOD 200,000 from a developer, JOD 300,000 from a private seller or JOD 150,000 outside Amman, held five years without sale or mortgage.
