Ualett Rewards lets 600,000 gig workers cut remittance costs by $10

How Ualett Rewards works
Ualett’s Rewards program lets eligible gig workers earn GigPoints they can apply toward remittance costs. The program went live May 11 and is available in the Ualett mobile app for clients with an active cash advance who have already completed at least one remittance.
Users earn 100 GigPoints for each successful referral that leads to a first remittance and they can also pick up points through gaming offers on the KashKick partner platform. The exchange rate is simple: 10 GigPoints = $1.
Who can use it
The program is aimed at Ualett clients in the U.S., including rideshare drivers, delivery workers, freelancers and other independent contractors who send money across borders. Ualett said the service is built for more than 600,000 gig workers it serves.
Points are nontransferable and can’t be cashed out. They also expire if an account stays past due for more than 150 days and users lose remaining points if they cancel the rewards program.
What users need to watch
Redemption is capped at 100 points per remittance or $10 and redeemed points are applied to the next eligible transfer. Suspended accounts keep their points, but they can’t redeem them until reactivation.
Ualett also bars fake referrals, multiple-account abuse and automated tools, with disqualification and point forfeiture as penalties. Check our country guides for destination-specific details and visa updates for more coverage on mobility and money movement.
