Travelers entering or leaving Israel have additional options through Ben Gurion Airport, though service remains thinner than normal and some large carriers are still absent.

Routes operating into Tel Aviv

Azerbaijan Airlines resumed daily Baku-Tel Aviv service in early May. Tickets are available through the flag carrier’s website and mobile app.

SkyUp Nistru restarted Tel Aviv-Chisinau flights on May 3, with four departures a week. Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air resumed links between Tel Aviv, Samarkand and Tashkent around the same time, giving expats and other travelers more connections through Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

These flights change route availability, not immigration requirements. Passengers still need to meet the rules for their nationality and status under Israel’s entry and residency rules, along with any transit requirements imposed by the connecting country.

Some airline suspensions remain

Air Canada has canceled Tel Aviv service through Sept. 7, while easyJet isn’t expected to return before October. Other carriers have repeatedly revised their schedules following security assessments, so published return dates aren’t guarantees.

Travelers should reconfirm each flight in the operating carrier’s booking system before leaving for the airport, particularly when an itinerary depends on a separate connection through Baku, Chisinau or Uzbekistan.
