GrabStays launches in Singapore for Southeast Asia nomads this May

How GrabStays works
Grab and Nuitée have added GrabStays to the Grab superapp, letting users search and book hotels without leaving the app. The service is powered by Nuitée’s AI-first hotel system and is built for last-minute and same-day stays, with an AI chatbot that can answer questions about hotel features, locations and preferences.
Bookings use existing Grab profiles, so users don’t need a new account or separate setup. Saved payment details can be prefilled and GrabRewards rewards apply across mobility, food and travel services. Grab said the feature is rolling out first in Singapore later in May.
Who it affects across Southeast Asia
The service is aimed at travelers, expats, digital nomads and tourists who already use Grab for rides, meals and payments. It may be most useful for same-day bookers and people trying to keep hotel reservations in the same app they use for transport and food orders.
Grab said the booking flow is meant to feel like requesting a ride: search, choose and confirm. Personalized promotions are part of the package, along with travel tools such as flight tracking and checklists announced alongside other GrabX features.
What to watch next
Malaysia is set to follow later in 2026, with a wider Southeast Asia rollout planned through the year. Availability will still depend on regulatory approvals and partner readiness in each market, Grab said.
Travelers can use the feature once it appears in their app, but the launch will be staggered by country. Read our full Southeast Asia guide for the complete picture and nomad news.
