Adomu summit for digital nomads runs through Oct. 17 in Italy

Adomu's second Digital Nomad Summit & Electronic Music Fest runs through Oct. 17 in southwestern Sardinia, Italy, bringing together digital nomads, founders, creatives and remote professionals from around the world.
Summit sessions in Sant'Antioco
The five-day event spans Oct. 13-17 across Sant'Antioco, Iglesias and the Sulcis-Iglesiente area. The main summit sessions take place Oct. 15-16 at the Museo Archeologico Barreca in Sant'Antioco, the local tourism website says.
This edition examines the human side of AI. Talks explore artificial intelligence, remote work and the relationship between professionals and local communities. The program includes workshops, roundtables and activities exploring archaeological sites, museums, nature, local products and traditions.
Announced speakers include Hannah Dixon, founder of Digital Nomad Kit and Rainbow Remote and Gonçalo Hall, founder of NomadX and creator of Madeira's Digital Nomad Village. Juan Barbed and Domenico Pinto are listed among the participants, the Consulta delle Fondazioni del Sud e Isole reported.
Foreign nomads can join English-led sessions
Participation is open to digital nomads, founders, creatives and remote professionals interested in connection and collaboration. Guest registration is through the organizer's ticket purchase option on its website. The organizer describes the audience as international.
Sessions are primarily in English, with language support for sessions conducted in Italian. Dedicated areas support focused work, workshops and creative sessions. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable in common areas, the organizer says.
That makes the event a fit for visiting freelancers and remote employees seeking professional exchange in English. The planning catch is transport: it isn't included. The organizer identifies Cagliari as the nearest airport and lists train and bus, direct bus and private taxi options for reaching the event.
Accommodation and the closing festival
The organizer offers a selection of partner apartments and hotels, mainly in Sant'Antioco, where most activities take place. An electronic music festival closes the edition Oct. 17 at the archaeological museum's courtyard, according to the foundation-sector report.
